I bet that topic got you confused. While it wont prevent the old problems finding the thread, it will stop new people from finding this thread in a search.
OK, where to begin. As you may have noticed, we have continued to have a problem with another forum trying to stir up trouble. I deleted most of the posts, so you may have missed it. A couple of members have suggested 'trolling' their forum as they have done ours. Please do not do this!. Firstly, you are only sinking to their childish level. Secondly, you will only make trouble for the webmaster (who as far as I know has nothing to do with posts here) and not the small minority that are the problem. Thank you. Because of these past issues, we are starting a new thread here. We have also started 2 new teams. You will only be accepted into these teams if you are a regular ten-tenths member. You will need to apply in the game for membership, then PM me with your team name and team numbers. I apologise if this inconviences anyone, but alas thats where we are at if we wish this game to continue. Please PM me if you have any queries. The teams : Team 1 no 20409 : This is for any team you are actually racing for points. If you have 5, enter 5. This will be the main league. Team 2 no 20413 : This will be the 'garage'. Enter all teams that you are storing for future seasons ie cashing up. So the proceedure is this. 1. Go to http://uk.racingmanager.yahoo.net/ and register (you can start as many teams as you like with the same email address. 2. Select the 'cash driver' - I think he's been called sunnyboy. I know a pay driver over talent does'nt sound right, but trust me. 3. Come to this thread and introduce yourself 4. Go to groups section and send application to the appropriate team above. 5. Send me (Wrex) a PM with your team names and numbers (I've gotta have those numbers) 6. Have fun PS there is no question too silly to ask. We all started this not knowing a damn thing (and still dont ) but we are getting there. Enjoy PPS If you are new, dont bother reading all these pages, just skip to the end and introduce yourself |

Thats what I thought also. But when I re-registered my new teams I used the same email over and over. No Problems.

Are you logging into Yahoo or setting up a new account?
Go to the main Yahoo page for your country. If you are signed in, sign out. Then click sign-in again. On the right you can sign in as an existing Yahoo user. On the left you can "sign up now" for Yahoo. Go to signup now. Register with a new ID. When it asks for an email for confirmation, use whatever email you like (the same over and over). Then when you sign into the game with your new Yahoo ID you done |

Yeah that's what I thought. For a second I thought you meant that we could operate all the cars from ONE yahoo id.

OK just as a matter of insterest and also something Redblurr asked me... I did one lap of track exploration with my driver set to INSANE and he gained 20% on the 1st lap then ran him on CRAVEN and he gained 8% on that lap. Took my other team and did it the other way around. Got the same result. Does anyone know if this is the same for other attributes?

OK same test on Overtaking. 1st lap on INSANE got me to 28% from 25% second lap on CRAVEN got me to 31% and doing it the other way around gives the same results... Also fitness DID drop more in INSANE mode. I also had 2% track knowledge with my ONE team but not the other after these two laps (weird). So i did one lap on Track exploration and I still gained 20% on the 1st lap and 8% on the second lap...

OK - Your driver attributes will increase by a greater % on insane rather than craven. BUT, IMO the benefits do not outweigh the risks.
Eventually you will have a motor blow or crash the car, and it will cost you more in repairs etc than you originally saved. None of the top teams do this. |

I have seen this mentioned "somewhere else", and they seem to like it. I tried it on one of my cars and improved my top speed by 28% in 100 turns (by running all insane for every lap), but my car and engine broke 3 times and it cost me about 500k to fix it.

I just did 3 laps on insane and it cost me over 200,000 in damage and I got no improvement in my driver attributes.

Think it depends on how you do it, or what stats you already have. I got some nice improvements, but it cost me a lot of money.
