If it doesn't clash and you'll be there, it sounds like it could be a good day out. See you there ?

Haven't you got any insider information for us, then Lorna?
Or do we have to wait? |

Seeing as I am on line 493 of my spreadsheet, I am sure I can accommodate....
Two events on the same day: British Superbike Championship at Cadwell Park; and UK Caterham Tour at Castle Combe. Loads of things on 26th but they are all abroad. And to think, you'll be able to do this yourself in a month's time on my website (banned yet, Craig? ) |

Cool - looks like we're on then
I'd have quite fancied the Superbikes at Cadwell - maybe next year then |

Craig! Remind me! I HAVE to go and see superbikes this year. I missed out on that last year. Love the bikes. Knees that close to the track round corners at the speed they go? Got to be seen!

Lorna - just though i'd remind you that you've GOT to go and see the bikes this year.
Hope that helps. |

The news I have is that Lydden won't be shutting this year.. although it'll need major work - the new owners of the race track (not the site) intend to carry on club racing for many years..
Then again, if I'm wrong.... |

I haven't heard of any reprieve for the circuit. Last I heard was that McLaren had planning permission from the local council to build a small factory there developing Mercedes sportscars, and using the track for testing purposes.
One of the conditions was that racing at the circuit would cease, and that no open piped racing cars would be tested there. This was to appease the NIMBY's. For those of you planning to attend the above meeting, you should know that it is somewhat primitive there. With very few facilities. On the plus side, it is one of those circuits where you can see the whole track from certain points. |
