I have to say I'm pretty suprised at Hughes and Reid's pace..I didn't think they'd be anywhere with that weight this weekend. Breeze is doing what I expected..good on him!
Cheers for the times |

Oh, and what is it with Muller's Vauxhall?! I doubt even a brick wall could stop it...

Good to see the new cars and drivers turn up! I was half expecting the Primera and 306 not to be there...

I thought the same about the Primera but so far so good. Anyone got a picture of the new cars. There will be 3 Varta cars, each a different model of car!

Proton are in real trouble if they can't beat Buxton and Wallace. Those cars have consistantly struggled beyond the company's worst nightmares this year.
Good effort from Jason Hughes to beat Jim. Also from Warren (no relation?) in being the top MG. |

Good performance by Chilton - his best grid position so far? Wallace not too far off Breeze, and ahead of both Protons. Buxton and Bennett have no times apparently.

Interesting to note Dan Eaves is the 2nd fastest Indie runner, and only 1.3 seconds off Thompson's pole time, that's not too bad at all..

I have to say that I'm loving the way that timing and scoring is working this week! (I will shoot anyone who defends them by saying they are working hard on a difficult job)
When talking about impressive performances lets not forget Owy who has beaten Muller, and Collard who once again has proven he can mix it with the works cars. For any anoracs out there this is the first time this season that Matt Neal will not be on the front row of the grid. It's also nice to see the newbies (in both classes) are keeping a resonable pace. It's also interesting to see Morrison's mid season revival continue! Last edited by Reido Rules; 12 Jul 2003 at 19:36. |
