The Ten-Tenths Supported Spotter Guide for CoTA has now been released with ALMS and WEC Guides available individually or as a combined PDF.
Download the guides on the ALMS and WEC Pages of www.spotterguides.com * NOTE= The ALMS and WEC guides are different sizes as Europe uses ISO size paper and North America uses a different system, the PDF has been sized for North America proportions |

Boy is it hot here. Computers showed mid 90s with 55% humidity by the end of the session. It fees like 100.
We're still working on set up an balance (nice to have a couple days of testing do work on it), and finished the session in 10th. Not where we'd like to be, but we've got time to work it out. |

Consider yourself lucky that a cold front should be pushing through by tomorrow, dropping the highs down into the mid 80s. Humidity will probably be lowered also.

From the test results so far, the Porsche teams are tops in GTE. The Delta was 8 seconds off pace of the leading lmp2 car from level 5.

My guess is that a lot will change between the first test and raceday, this being a new track to all the teams.
Should be an interesting race. Race and qualifying are both listed on the ESPN3 schedule! |

A lot will change before race day. On test days, teams aren't looking for speed, we're all just experimenting with set up and balance. Qualifying should be a better indicator of where teams will be for the race. So far, we're a little off the pace, but like everyone else, we're still finding the right settings and learning the track.
It's going to be a hot one! Thankfully, this track has decent cell phone service, so I'll be doing live twitter updates. If the internet works well too, I'll try to post a couple updates here. |

Word is no spectator access to Free Practice today, not sure how many friends that's going to win...
Edit Apologies - this may have been better posted in the WEC thread. |

No worries. I thiink it is applicable to ALMS as well. I agree, it is a pretty poor decision to not let spectators in today.

Weather is going to make this one interesting. Plenty of run off will help but hope for very few SCs. |

Practice is currently in the wet this morning. I love wet sessions, they are a jumble of classes. 40 minutes into 60 min session and it goes:
1. Deltawing 2. ESM 3. BMW 4. BMW 5. Dragonspeed |

Seems the track is still very wet. Rain all day? Those BMWs are very good in these conditions.
