7/10
It wasn't a classic, but fairly entertaining nonetheless. |

Certainly an interesting and entertaining race and a good start to the season but what was Button thinking? A very un-chracteristic drive. As for Massa, it fizzled away.

6.
Was interesting to see the different strategies play out. By 2 or 3 races things will be back to normal once the teams figure out the optimal strategies. |

Now a race in Bahrain with some political turmoil would get my vote ;-).
Seriously, i'm resetting my standards this year with all these new gimmicks. KERS, wings, tires did nothing really to improve the show. Only the first scrap between Massa and Button did hold some (ok, a lot) excitement. After that it was back to reality. |

A 7 here, too. Interesting rather than exciting ( I actually found qualifying more exciting to watch ). But at least the circuit looked real with a real crowd.

I gave it a 7 but was debating an 8. I thought it was a very promising start to the season and it definetly looks like we could have some very exciting races this year

A solid 7.
How nice not to start a season in some barren desert with only sheikhs watching as well. |

Gave it a 5 - nothing special. Tyre degradation and DRS didn't seem to add much here but could have more impact at some of the upcoming tracks.

7! Pretty decent! Some nice passing here and there, some intrigue and some good stories.

7 from me - kept me watching.......some good battles from time to time, and good performances by Petrov and Perez (disqualification not withstanding)

Must be a 6 at best. Could vote 7 but only because it was a long winter. If this race happend mid-season it would be a 5 to 6 in my book. No real drama anywhere near the sharp end (unless we count that fumbler chicane cut by Jense)

That says it all for me. I gave it 6 and that includes it being the first race of the season and at Melbourne.

I've given it a 6/10. I think the race itself was more of a 5, but it threw up some interesting possibilities for the races to come. DRS and tyre wear are likely to come up again and again this season.
Great job from Petrov and Perez, Heidfeld and Barrichello could do better. Ominous signs for the rest of the season: that Red Bull is FAST. Shame about Sauber being disqualified, but I think if they have broken the rules the DSQ should stand. They seem to have a quick car which is once again gentle on its tyres. They could throw some surprises this season, especially at Canada, where tyre management is critical. |

a bit biased because i was at the track and got a bit lost as to who was doing what, where and why.... but was great to see and hear the cars going around again. And appreciated some great drives from vettel, hamilton and petrov who looked to be driving outstandingly well. |

I gave it an 8. Enjoyed it on a very picturesque track.
Even the weather good for racing too. |

Gave it a 3, boring as hell.
FFW'd through most of it, thank God. Only stopped and rewatched when something unusual happened, like the extraordinary button pass, THAT WAS PURE EXCITEMENT AND EDGE OF THE SEAT STUFF!!1 |
