6 Hours of Bahrain
Sorry, not been able to do a proper preview of this so links only this week. Won't be able to do them in 2018, so would appreciate it if someone else could take over. |

Thanks for opening this. Doesn't look like a very popular race, but I will enjoy it since it's Porsche's last one in lmp1 for the foreseeable future! Pulling for a #7 win though

Yeah no LMP1 battle is a bit of a downer, but the others look good.
LMP2 - #31 Rebellion leads #38 JC DC by 4 points. #38 starts 2nd, #31 starts third Assuming that the #36 Signatech, #38 JCDC and #31 Rebellion are the top 3 - if the Signatech Alpine (which is on pole) wins the race, then #31 can finish third and it will win the title. Realistically, the #38 needs to win to take the title. And then there's the G-Drive car to consider. LMP2 will be tense. GTE-Pro #51 Ferrari has a 13 point lead over the #91 Porsche, and 15 over #67 Ford. So the #51 appears to have a decent enough buffer and only need 7th to take the title. GTE-Am #98 Aston has a 10 point lead over #77 Porsche and 11 over #61 Ferrari. They only need 5th to win the title, but there's only 4 entries. So the Aston just needs to finish for the title. I am in no way responsible for this maths being completely wrong. Which it will be, because I did it. |

Split strategy for Toyota. Amusingly, that puts the #7 on track with the delayed #2.
Conspiracy theory time. Is Rusinov playing the "demotion to silver" game? |

Nice onboard view in the #7. You could see Lopez manually used hybrid energy to boost out of the corner

Yeah pretty sure Vergne turned into Senna, but I'd like to see it again.
Unless Signatech have a magic solution to tyre wear, I don't see the current strategy working. Lapierre is losing 4-5 seconds a lap on old tyres and being passed by the Silver drivers. |

Great stuff from the 92, and from Beche in the 13 Rebellion. Brilliant pass.
Lapierre is now 8th and finally pits. |
