Mark Porter and David Clark in serious condition after Fujitsu crash

This is unconfirmed of course but brendan has recied a text message from an unkown source about Mark Porters accident. the guts of text isnt that good but are unconfirmed reports but at this stage all the info we have is Mark Porter is in critical condition Last edited by marcus; 6 Oct 2006 at 05:44. |

Ch10 just reported that they stabilised him a the track medical centre before tranfserring him to hospital. No indication of the extent of the injuries.

v8s are now qualifying, so police havent as yet claimed the track, which is a positive sign for Porter. Mind you, only if he is declared at the track. im not sure if the police have to survey the track if the driver is declared aware from the circuit.
Lets just hope for the best, especially this weekend., |

At the time of the crash, the channel 10 pit guys went as spoke to the M Sport crew, who did say that they managed to get a few words from Mark over the radio. Hopefully thats a good sign.

They just showed the crash on TV here,the car that hit Porters hit it going sideways and not a T-Bone,it was bad but seen worse,heres hoping.

Sky News have Will Hagon on the 4.00pm saying they are both critical and they are waiting on further news.
I'm sure he said Clark has gone to Sydney but I may have this mixed up. |
