Apart from the first few laps, it was fairly dull up until the pit stops and then the strategy came into play. But it was turned on its head with the SC and Red Bull making that second double tyre stop. Overall, one of the best GPs I've seen for a while, pretty much had everything.

8 from me. A snorefest to start, up to about 1/3 distance, but when they lit the blue touch paper it was compelling viewing. Shame it takes an SC and stuff to spark a race into life.

Pre Toro Rosso incident and SC it was looking like another snorefest. Post SC it was very good.

A good entertaining race, gave it an 8 which I'm not used to giving, so be gentle.

Well to be honest race was looking like a real low score then SC came to the rescue and loved the last bit, overtaking, incidents, cars catching up huge gaps and reckless moves. Everything you want in a race in 20 minutes. An 8 from me

8. Bottas and Danny RIC, the stars of the show. Felt sorry for Bottas but thems the daft tyre rules.
Verstappen was on top form. Turning into his dad, and every other car on the track. Alonso showing he still has fight. Hamilton didn't turn up again. |

8 to 9 - I threw a 9 at it. Best F1 race I've seen in a bit.

I only watched from the SC (couldn't be bothered getting up early), so it's a 7 from me.

I was watching it from a recording and went to bed around lap 10 or 15. It was looking pretty tedious at that point and I was struggling to stay awake. Then restarted it this morning and everything came alive. I know the safety car stirred things up, but it is still fundamentally contrary to a sporting contest. I gave it 8, but without the safety car I think it would have been 9.
