1 Green. BRG (it doesn't narrow it down, but I mean a darker green not Aston green and certainly not metallic).
2. Blue/Orange, you know he one.
3. Silk Cut ('90 with no yellow)
4. '91 Silk Cut.
5. Martini cars (that grabs many different cars. Silver and Martini or white and Martini I don't mind.)

You see a theme? Well that took up three of my five, so I'll mention a couple of others.
Brun Porsche '90
Rothermans Porsche

P.S. This is all off the top of my head and I reserve the right to disagree with myself.

I agree totaly on any of the Martini color schemes. My all time favorite. New Man livery follows.

Mine would have to be the Gulf scheme from the 70's (never liked the darker blue one Derek Bell had in the mid 90's), and the New Man Porsche schemes of 1984 & 1985. I had R/C cars painted up in those colours, took ages to get the stripes just right!!!!!

my faves are...

1) Silk Cut (white and purple only, I think that's the XJR12, but i might be wrong)

2) Bigazzi Mclaren Fina Blue and white, (Shortail edition with blue on the tail end), for some reason I really liked this. Don't ask why.

3) Jaguar XJR5/6 (All british racing green) with bit of white

That is correct. The '12 ran in the colours you describe in 1990, but also ran in the full purple livery in '91 at Le Mans. Of course they also ran in Castrol and Bud colours.

The French colored Oreca Vipers looked great.

The Porsche 917 Gulf livery is a racing classic.

Speaking of Porshe, I always liked the Rothmans and Martini colors too.

Silk Cut Jaguar

Champion Audi R8 with special recognition going to the 2000 Adelaide R8

It has got to be the 'Pink Pig 962'. My six year old absolutely loves it.

or the 'psychadelic' 917.

For me it's t'other way around...pale blue is like a pretend colour, whereas a good strong royal blue is God's own shade.

I also liked the Ceekar in C2. Very simple. Just black. Apart from the white number discs with red number. Almost Bauhaus in its approach.

Four classics in no particular order:

Martini livery - Porsche 917
Rothmans livery - Porsche 956
Momo livery - Ferrari 333SP
Gulf livery - Audi R8

I've found a few "solid" color cars to be quite graceful. The Sauber Mercedes C11, the all silver Joest car from 2003, or the 2003 Bentley.

Something coming for 2007? or 2010

Personally I like the old McLaren Orange of Can Am days of the late 60s and early 70s.

that i think is a daytona prototype which can not lay a finger on a true LMP or even a GT car but it is rumoured toyota are coming back into sportscar racing in LMP1 so hopefully that comes through

also another paintjob to add to my favorites list the 1999 oreca viper GTSR's

Tricky one, so much to choose from...

1. Joest New Man 962 - actually surprosed by how popular this one is, but yellow and black work so well on a car
2. Kauhsen's Campari Alfa Romeos - because there's something ineffably 1970s chic about them
3. Martini Lancia LC2 - because a Lancia has to be in there and the Martini piping fitted like a glove
4. Gulf 917 - because both Gulf and a 917 have to be in any list...
5. 1991 Silk Cut Jaguar - because it was such a departure from the previous Silk Cut liveries

List could go on, but I suspect it might be shorter to list the entries that wouldn't qualify!

Favorite Colours

For me its the three werks porsche 962's in 1988. They were stunning simply beautiful even better in the flesh. Also what about the Obermier Boss porsche 956 from 1983 and 1984. The jags of 1987 were nice as were most of Walter Bruns porsche 956 and 962's. The black Joest Blaunpukt driven by stuck was stunning. But for me it was the Shell 962's of 88 they looked the buisness and should have won damn!! those pesky Jags.

Svierge has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Shell/Dunlop factory 962s from '88.
Jagermeister 962. Well anything Jagermeister really as it's my all-time favourite.
BASF BMW M1 - the red one with the white spirals.
Leyton House Kremer 962.
Marlboro short-tail McLaren F1s from Zuhai (sp?) in about '96.
Torno Brun 962.
Gulf Porsche 908/3s from the Targa Florio days - I loved the way they were all slightly different.

Plus obviously the Martini and Gulf 917s.

Oh and from the recent times, the Eclipse Motorsport Mosler MT900R, as campaigned in the British GT series.

The best is a tough for me, but I like two for sure.

2003 Bentley at Lemans (The red numbers at Sebring bothered me)
The Sebring Audi R8 in Crocidile livery.

As for the wortst scheme, thats easy. The Konrad Saleens.
