Eurosport Player
Question for the Brits: do any of you watch World Superbikes using Eurosport player? I'm thinking of subscribing. Is the coverage the same as we see on TV (sounds daft I know, if you're watching on the player I guess you don't watch it on the TV at all!) or do they cut to chase? Do they use the international feed commentators or the British commentators? Thanks.

From what I remember a few years ago the footage was ideintical
But I did find they did not always uploads older races, so you could not catch up very easily. It was not the best I will admit and was often unreliable. |

Thanks. I'm not sure how to proceed now as I wanted to dump Sky altogether and the only thing I would have missed was Eurosport hence the question about the player but if they are likely to be tardy with old races and such then that's no good although significantly cheaper!
I don't see the point of giving BSkyB almost £600 a year when all the channels I watch are all free to air except Eurosport! |

Eurosport have always been unreliable. I still remember the lottery of whether the CART race would be shown at its advertised time, it indeed at all, on a Sunday evening.
Anyway, the app was decent for watching live when I had it for Le Mans about three years ago. |

I have used it for a couple of years and found it to be good. Don't watch every super bike race religiously but it is one of their headline series.
Add on benefit is the global feed for WEC - no commentary - only interviews, Eduardo and ambient engine noise. RLM brings commentary (Bruce Jones and Alex Brundle today), usually only a couple of seconds out. |

I rarely watch anything live these days so the ability to watch older races be it superbikes or skiing or whatever, is probably the most important thing.
