Ozarks is going to be a really interesting one to see how that races, looks like a great track.

With exactly 2 months to go, we are at 13 cars.... I dont think there is a wild wild wild scope for increase here, probably looking at 17-19 GT3's for the season, the odd extra here and there

Would Clay's car be ProAm? I would assume it's an AM car, James owns Bimmerworld and has usually been a Bronze rating and is the Ari Balogh the same dude who is the CEO of AirBnB? Saw an Aristotle Balogh on FIA page and he is Bronze as well.

I'd be thrilled to see 18 full season cars. That would be an improvement. 2 more Pro cars would be especially great though - in an ideal world they would also be from brands other than AMG and Lambo. It's surprising especially that BMW wouldn't organize a car or two for their pro drivers to come to grips a bit better with the new car. Especially as they have a decent few who are going to be primarily doing US based racing this season.

I think manufacturers have well and truly decided GTWC America is for Pro-Am customer supported entries, and IMSA is where they send their PRO entries in the US

I don't know either, I know James a bit as he lived near me and I knew his old roommate but the other dude is unknown to me other than the mighty Google search while waiting for another meeting.

Yeah, it seems like WC has lost out to IMSA for pros.

GT America (not GTWC America) underway in St. Pete this weekend. Fun first race after an early caution, and a strong 29-car grid.

I'm also quite curious to see how Ozarks will go. Especially for a new FIA Grade 2 track,it looks pretty wild.

Well we are down one car as the Auberlen/Hull BimmerWorld M4 GT3 had an off at Virginia testing the other day and the car has been written off. Due to the lack of M4s it means they've had to pull out for now.

DSC says Turner will be a Pro class car.

Also you can add a Wright Porsche to the P/AM class based on the article from DSC.

Would love to see another few Pro cars but I don't know where they would come from, another AM car or two would be great as well. Either way the grid is looking improved over last season.

If it wasnt for the written off Bimmerworld car, we'd be 1 car away from the magical 20 number! Alas, we are now at 18.

I'm surprised the schedule includes Sunday running. Course NASCAR used to take the weekend off and they're running Saturday night dirt at a Bristol. Guess Easter weekend ain't what it once was but understandable
