I'd trust the EPG over Autosport. Which matches what you've mentioned the Radio Times has.

Schedule I've seen is 1 - 2.30pm and 4.30 - 6.30pm so may get a little extra. Anybody know how much of the support races we'll get to see or is it a wait and see?

I was outside so could only hear the commentary and caught the end of the second race, I think they said they would show the Seat Cupras in the later programme, the 3rd BTCC race live and afraid I can't remember what else!

Tour de France screwing up the schudules for most things motorsport related. DTM is on late for example.

oh well-not the end of the world
anyway-i hope the races are going to be interesting, they have changed the chicane which might make it less fun for viewers. seat say that they have found what they need to make it better for them. weather might be interesting as its not been too good lately. lets hope they don't have it chucking it down or stopping races

In the story Jackson states: “I’ve never had a car swap ends on me like that… ever. There must have been something down,”

At Brands in 2007, IIRC, Mat had three points on his licence for a 'spin'.

Grid for R1;

http://www.tsl-timing.com/?loc=major...&tabletype=gif Respectable times from Kane and Jelley, Neal and Jackson looking off pace.

If that was the spin at Paddock that ended up with a few cars being wiped out on the run to Druids, that was driver error - he was a little optimistic from the start, so he probably half expected it - track was wet and it was quite graceful, really.

This one sounds like it got away spectacularly when there was no real reason for it in his eyes (not knowing about Neal dropping fluid).

The SEAT's are having it their own way here then, but can the others catch them in the races? And Jelley finally putsin a decent quali... Only taken him half a year. Hope he can keep up in the races tomorrow.

Did anyone else think Plato was a bit controversial with his VXR comments?

Indeed, looked a bit weird. Maybe it got partially hit out of picture and the marshals just went out to ensure that everything was ok and that a new hit wouldn't make parts of it move out on track.

Other than that is was quite a nice raceweekend where especially race two offered a lot of close racing action the vast majority of which was fair racing with people giving each other racing room.

Listening to the radio traffic on the scanner, the Post Chief at Russell called in that they had been hit and moved, the Post Chief made no request for a safety car, made no indication that they were on the racing line or in the way. The depolyment of the saftey car was as puzzling to the Marshals there as it was to you.

I initally thought the SC was for an incident elsewhere on the circuit!.

I don't think he owns the car, Robertshaw do. The listing on Race Cars Direct has it either for sale or for a race by race hire.

I'm guessing he's found a bit more money, possibly left over from the sponsorship at Croft considering he barely turned a wheel.
