HRT New Logo!

I just popped into the HRT Lions Den at Highpoint in Melbourne today and saw some of the new team gear. It had the new HRT logo on it. They have made it a bit more aggressive than in previuos years. It has the same sort of lines as what has been used for the Holden Motorsport logo.
The lines are sharper and there aren't the curved lines anymore. Overall it looks better than the old one. Can't wait to see how they make the race car look.

HRT's 2003 merchandise is also available if anyone is interested.

FPR's logo looks better though

I wonder if the silver, blue and black will be the Prodrives cars colours for this year.

You guys had better get used to that "ugly" HRT logo, 'cause it's all you'll see on the podium this year. It's also a good thing that FPR have a "pretty" logo... it might just entice Channel Ten to show the FPR cars in a mid-race battle for 16th position! They'd better get some TV coverage for all of their investment.

the sad thing is that Walkinshaws team probably spent more on the redesign of the logo than some small teams would have as the whole budget for the season......

I don't see the problem with how much the team spent on the logo, i suppose they could have spent their money poaching drivers off Ford instead.

We're told that the FPR cars will all have different paint schemes. What do you get when you cross 00 with black red and yellow?

I think FPR are making a mistake having 3 different colour schemes. Won't look very professional as a supposed team and a works team at that.

I like the idea od a factory ford team, but with different liveries, and initially AU's and a BA it will look like a very cobled up team. Which is funny because I s'pose that's what it is at the moment!

But hey, what does the paint have to do with how fast the cars go? Look at Nascar. 4 car teams, 4 different paint jobs.

I remember when FTR started I always thought it was pretty shonky for a "factory team" because they started off with Seton in an AU and Crompton in an EL for the first half of the year.

Crash,

00 + black + red + yellow = a @#@$%#$& mess.

Which will probably last most of the championship until things get really organised, unfortunately.
