Was that 3 blocking moves from Schumi? Looked like it to me.

The speed differential between the Ferraris seemed too big for a simple slipstream....very odd.

I would have been delighted to have seen Sato do a Kamikaze and take MS out just like he himself has done to so many before - there's no justice.

Good rolling start from MS~
1-2 Ferrari..hope they keep it up anyway, funny people question MS's start but nobody bothered about Alonso's lighting start and cutting the circuit width twice...com'on be fair~ |

For me, it looks like that MS has pass Rubens even before the lap has started after the SC went in. Because the lap counter states on that lap..
1: M.Schumacher 2: Rubens 3: Alonso... Anyone have the same thought? |

Big impact for Ralf~
He's in his car for a very very long time...is he alright?? Anyways, MS is now running in the lead with 1 stop....while those in 2nd and 3rd are at 0...good strategy? What happen to Alonso.. Incident packed race...Phew~ |

The impact threw his visor open and the angle was terrible.
I'm fearing for his back here.....something is very wrong for him to be in that car for so long. |

How incompetent are the marshalls? It was an age until they could be bothered to go out on track. And what the heck are they doing not red flagging the race?

Raikkonnen has passed Barrichello for 'true' second...hope Ralf is okay - that looked nasty.
Why did they take so long to get to him!? Seems almost like any normal race at Indy doesn't it? |

Lets make F1 cars drive over carbon fibre for a bit and while we do it show the drivers the result of a high speed crash.
Still the race goes on. Why was there not a red flag? |

Television schedules are more important than safety it seems.

I agree Adam. They could have gone through the pits. It's shocking that there was no red flag.

Montoay did not pit but he started form the spare car that should have more fuel than his race car did(how much? i have no idea) so his not stopping may be a good stragety, it did move him up form the back

Alonso had either a tyre failure or a puncture - perhaps because there was so much debris on the track. Maybe it's time to go back towards red flags.
Ralf's incident may've been a driver error judging by the way he came up from the low-side of the corner. The medical crews were shamefully slow to get to the scene - it took over a minute to treat Ralf, and in the Zanardi crash (which instantly looked much worse) they had 4 mintues to save his life. |

Isn;t there a better way to get to the medical centre than to parade him around in an ambulance???

Red flag.
Ralf, driver error - odd place to lose it if it was. |
