Alfa and Lexus ?
Any gossip on why these cars are not on the entry list ? Are they likely to race anyway, given recent rumours that they will be campaigned by GR (conspicuous by their absense on the list) and TMSR respectively ?

Hmmm ...The GR Alfa's I can understand, the deal was all very late and now they have to find suitably funded drivers to run them..which isn't an easy task at this time of the year. They are very much a team that seems to run on driver budgets as opposes to 'team' sponsors.
As for the Lexus, like you I thought this was done and dusted - not sure who was going to be paying for it though - I can't see Autocar stumping up enough to pay for two cars - that's if they actually part with real money at all as opposed to doing a deal over ad space in the mag. Neither Car Phone Warehouse or Evening Standard - (who appeared on the car last year - courtesy of Charlie Cox I would guess - who has a role with CPW) are big money sponsors...so maybe a cash situation again....this time of the year its all about doing the walkin' as well as the talkin'! |

Just notice no Team HTML - have their ETCC plans come off?
I noticed they were selling the 306's plus their team transporter (which looked fine to me!) in Autosport a few weeks back...any ideas.... |

I guess the simple answer could be that the entry list deadline was a week or two ago - I guess they could simply have of missed that but still be intending to enter ?? The question then is would they be entitled to all points and other benefits ??
The list came straight from Jardine, Tim. |

Not sure if their ETCC attack has been confirmed or not, but it sounded pretty certain from what I heard previously...

The entry deadline was 31st January, and it's only been in the last few weeks TMSR and GR have revealed their plans.

Indeed-I think the entry list isn't that comprehensive, normally they have car numbers etc.
