2015 Daytona 500 plus Duels
Other than your driver or team , what will you be watching for in the 500
or duels this year? |

Thought I was the only one with that guilty pleasure.
I am interested to see what Jeb Burton does with his opportunity. |

Will be interesting to see if Gordon and Johnson hang back and just try feeling out the cars in traffic and be cautious. Think there could be a driver or two at the back and ****ing and moaning about guys racing them to get into the 500 and how dumb the rules are. I'm thinking at least half the field will have damage in each Duel and under 20 cars running unscathed in the 500.
Might actually watch a bit since the weather here in Atlanta looks like Sunday will be a washout at Road Atlanta, plus the field looks pretty sparse. Maybe just a day trip up on Saturday. |

You have two choices at Daytona, stay out front and let the banging happen behind you or lay up out back and hope you avoid the inevitable banging in front of you. Oh, and don't get directly in front of Joey.

Cold temps, hot heads and the new harder tires should make for some crash-tasic racing tonight.

Marshall Pruett put it best this week on MWM. If you missed it, go have a listen. It's all about what they can get on TV. It's the armpit of American sports right now. It's Thursday night, been a long week already and I have a cold one. I guess I'll watch the **it show that is plate racing on Fox.
Minus Matt Yocum, I'm already done with the Fox broadcast crew. |

I'll miss the Duels, no FS1, but with Road Atlanta closed this weekend I guess I'll watch some of the 500. Prob turn it off with the big one though, I don't need 10 drivers telling me how dumb XXXX rule is from NASCAR and how the drivers always know what's best for the racing and fans. Rarely are they right and usually just sound petulant and whiny.

Kinda glad I can't see the weather down there, was mad listening to the guys on NASCAR radio and their 75 degree weekend forecast down there. |

Some nice NASCAR fire fighting there. Grab it with your glove. That doesn't work? Kick it. Still not out, bottled water dump should do it....

I don't judge and as long as you don't go all "DanicaFan" on us by starting a thread everytime she brushes her hair different or gets a new patch on her firesuit, you'll be fine.

They used to run during the day and it used to be 125 miles.
I've turned to bourbon. |
