I believe he will....Jaguar, Toyota, Arrows, Prost, Minardi, and Bennetton,(you guess the replacement!! ), would all be better with Heinz.
(No smart remarks about ketchup or mustard required!! ).

There is increasing speculation that he'll be with Toyota next year, but I don't know how that is possible as Salo and McNish are signed, so unless one of those are dumped......

He might have to take one year off, and get one of the Toyota or Jaguar seats in 2003, or perhaps even the second McLaren seat....

As we have seen with HHF, and Alesi, and PDLR, and Burti, being under contract doesn't mean much. Unless, of course, you happen to be TGF. His contracts are special.....

I believe he will race for Jaguar next year. Alesi will take his place at Jordan next year. Zonta will return to obscurity where he belongs.

I am worried that Frentzen will steal McNish's seat away, a drive that McNish deserves more than Frentzen at this point.

I think he may go to Toyota. I think one of the drivers will get ditched during '02, depending on whose slowest!!??

I've heard that Toyota are talking to Alex Wurtz and that Zonta, who is still on a McLaren contract, will take the testing position there.

I've also heard rumours of a Zonta-to-Benetton, Bunsen-to-Prost deal (with cash for Eddie Jordan from Flav).

But as yet I think we all know nothing about it.

And as for Frenzy, he's got a lawsuit pending and until that settles nobody is going to sign him to drive for them.

If there was justice in the F1 world HHF would replace DC from next season.

Buuuuut there isn't any.

Toyota have recently said that McNish and Salo WILL drive for them next season. So I don't think he will go there. Then again, since silly season has started again, I really don't have a clue.

Oh come on, DC's been better than Mika this year. Actually that's not really saying much is it!

Erm.. I can see HHF taking a sabbatical.

He'd be better off waiting for a top team in 2003 or testing for the next year - the driver market next year is going to be at boiling point...

Why Mfan? DC is doing as good a job as he has for the last couple of years.OK, he hasn't won a WDC but surely he has performed better than Heinz. What do you base the above on? Do tell........

I agree. My friend went to see the GP at Hockenheim and said he saw Heinz in the stands watching the race. It was even broadcasted on the big screens around the circuit. He seems to made the adjustion from being a F1 driver to ordinary F1-fan pretty fast.

I think if I were Heinz, I would do whatever it took to get a ride next year. A sabbatical, I feel, would be a bad idea, with so many excellent young drivers champing at the bit, and willing to drive for a salary significantly less than his (was).

I also feel his reputation has suffered a bit this year, as Jarno has been more impressive overall. All the more reason to get a drive a.s.a.p.
