Doubt it. They were saying at the start of the month that it was another 2-3 weeks for the gearbox to arrive.

I should have wrote new Talent,, its obvious its about getting the car out for the rest of the season, which is fair enough , but it certainly looks like a team in trouble, not to have planned from the start to finish the season, there is History in there for the key figure of the team if you look back through his racing career, hes always run out before seasons end .
But its a cash strapped enviroment so he has achieved a lot I suppose |

Base boost is a bit of a pity, Silverstone is very much a power circuit.

It's a bit rubbish when it's to stop any ringers coming in and interfering, but prevents someone new getting the chance to show off their potential. Having said that, Mike Bushell did well with it at Knockhill. Totally different style of track though.

This was somthing I suggested on Twitter and, I believe, makes sense. The Porsche Carrera Cup will join with the GT3 Cup grid at SIlverstone according the BTCC.net timetable

Thanks for that. It's all a bit of an unknown to the general public. I was just going by the fact that James Kaye and Warren Scott had to do a couple of events with base boost due to them swapping cars.

TOC will run on base boost until the finale. Seeing as Caine was the other driver...

with Silverstone being all about boost and least important driver skill and chassis I think we can really see the likes of Welsh, HARD , Speedworks for a podium perhaps
we all remember what a farce it was last year |
