Remember this is Panoz' home track and therefore the one that they should be the most competitive on. Great result from the old girl though....JML is doing a great job of giving the car a proper send-off.
Where was the #11? |

Why has the Panoz 11 not shown up in timing? There were a couple of cars that were listed without having times (Petersen was one).
It seems there were 37 cars listed in T&S of the 38 entered, and the JML Panoz seems to be the odd one out. Maybe they're busy converting it to GTR spec... |

Went to the IMSA site & saw the provisional results at Petit from wed. practice....Intersport ran the Judd engine today and was 6th overall and 3rd in class...
just a few tenths behind the Dyson #20.... I'll be interested in seeing how their AER powered car runs, and which one they choose to go with for this Saturday... Since they are on pace with the 2nd Dyson car on its first outing with that power, it tells me that the Judd 3.4 has some potential... |

the ferrari's are doing their homework, but Magnussen knows this track very well, bing ex-Panoz.
Good to see the panoz show well, and the Lola go dyson! can they keep it up? and will the Vettes pull out some goodies fro the quali? |

The complete sheet is here...
I'm surprised that there's so few LMP900, even if those one are strong : 2 Audis, 2 Panozes, 2 R&S (one didn't take part or didn't had a time for this session)... and a strong bunch of MGs. The B2K/40 is now in LMP675, and quite far behind the Lola/Mgs... Should be a great race to follow, can't wait to ear (cannot see ) and follow on the web... Thursday's morning session was led by Champion Audi, but it seemed like a much slower session for most involved than yesterday's test...one of the Prodrives had a spin with some damage, and the American Spirit R&S also had a spin and contact but did not make it back for the aftrnoon session.
Here are the Afternoon session results: 1. Dyson #16 -- 1:12.782 2. Champ Audi -- 1:13.120 3. Joest Audi -- 1:14.237 4. Panoz #10 -- 1:14.263 5. Intersport Lola-Judd -- 1:14.692 6. Dyson #20 -- 1:15.195 7. Panoz #11 -- 1:15.456 8. Intersport R&S -- 1:17.378 9. Prodrive #88 -- 1:19.607 10. Corvette #3 -- 1:20.075 The other Corvette I believe was 11th and the Prodrive car that spun in the morning was 12th... |

No grid set yet. . .
Hey Fab, just wanted to make sure you know that qual. is this afternoon at 2:20 EST, so there is no "grid" yet - although maybe you meant combine the session times thus far to give a theoretical grid?
