Think its a dumb move for Yam to sign Reed
Their factory team is JGR anyway, has been for years. |

Not that dumb - he kept Dungey honest in San Diego, but that #1 showed how fast & consistent he is, no mistakes at all... The Honda with Canard needs to lift, Tomac needs to make a decent start, the same with Roczen, as for the #22, he loves it & it is great to see him up there still mixing it with the best, he is a champion Chunder

Why dumb, is he too old at 33?
Yamaha now run 3 factory bikes, that is better than 2. KTM have 3, Suzuki have 4 in 2 different teams - the more factory bikes the better I would have thought... |

I would like to see Musquin (the 2015 250 East Champ)
give Dungey a run for his money. I also would like to see Stewart finish the season with out getting hurt for a change. If Tomac can keep his fire burning he can be a contender for the championship but I think he is a little too laid back when its go time. looking forward to the season. Thanks for the intro! |

I think it must have been a last minute deal for Reedy, he was nowhere near the pace most of past year especially outdoors where he was hopeless.
He did win a supercross round and that is what they will require, perhaps one decent win in a big event and they will be happy, but a season challenge I cant see it, just not quick enough. What they are probably doing with the team is setting up for a Star racing team in 2017 with Webb and J Mart. For me Dungey will win again is he will not fall off and finish top 3 every week. Tomac will win no brainer if he stays on and gets on with the KX, he blitzed everyone outdoors until he injured himself and needs a little consistency indoors. Wildcards are Roczen and Bubba, Ken was amazing initially last year til he fell, and Stewart you hope for one more good year. |

Interesting start to the Supercross season - Weston Peick was on the wrong end of some aggressive riding from Vinnie Friese, twice... Peick has been suspended for one round!

their bikes up but not throw 5 or 6 haymakers. All in all the track was fun and provided some nice passes for the riders. Good to see a new name at the top of the 450's. Poor ole Bubba, disaster seems to always find him even if he is minding his own business. |

Who cares about their shenanigans!
I am rooting for Anderson, he is in the Baker factory so will be trained by the best guy, is bascially on the bike that dominated last year as the Husky is a 2015 KTM and looked pretty superb. Barcia must have has a problem, Dungey looked as consistent as usual, Roczen looked good were it not for starts. My worry was the Hondas getting out there and then dropping away. |

And Barcia is now out of Supercross to have surgery on his thumb... Anderson lost his 3rd place (finishes 5th)!
"The opening round winner was docked two positions following the event after officials ruled Anderson jumped while the red cross flag was out, resulting in a fifth place result for the event." |

Reed always goes well at San Diedo and Anaheim did you watch outdoors last year he was totally awful.
I think he can still offer something but not season long. IMpressed with Seeley still and Brayton rode well this weekend. Barcia can do one for me, dirty rider. Tomac not gellign well yet and Canard up and down. Roczen is there if he can start, as is Anderson. But looks like Dungey all the way, he made that look easy as usual. |

I did watch the outdoors, but he isn't contracted to do the outdoors, so lets focus on the Supercross hey!
Webb is the class of the field in the 250's, which makes that series a bit of a yawn... |

You wont like this.
But Webb should be on that 450 this year, Reed should be on his own bike again. Webb rode a 450 a few times and he and J Mart will be on that bike nest year maybe even run by STAR. It's silly him doing 250 West again, but it's also silly Herlings still doing 250's in GP. |

Webb should be on a 450, he rode a 450 in Sydney round of Australian SX late last year, beating Chad Reed in a thriller... Reed is still worthy of a decent SX ride tho - look how well most #2's are going in the factory teams!
Is Herlings doing another season of 250's, that is bs - why don't one of the Jap manufacturers chuck him a load of cash to ride there 450? |

Coz he knows what side his bread is buttered and I reckon is waiting for Cairoli to retire before moving up.
He wont be that good anyway, crashes too much and has bones made or porcelain. |

Pretty weak really, other riders would have gone 450 or atleast had a crack at the AMA...

He says he wants to break records! Meaning he wants to win lots of 250 races and titles because he thinks he cant win 450 ones!
# Sadly the days of their best riders racing in the US is gone, MXGP thinks it is a huge series, it does get massive fan attendance but like SUpercross the tv coverage in the UK is non existant, non HD and simply atrocious. Big elsewhere, not here clearly. |

I thought that Fox Sports 3 could air AMA Supercross in Latin America, but no.

The reigning champions of both divisions cruised to easy wins again.
Interesting that James Stewart didn't ride again after he got k'od in round 1. Seems the only thing that will stop Dungey is an injury, which no-one wants to see. Canard had a poo night, Anderson & Seeley struggled, whilst Tomac & Roczen where strong towards the end, but made poo starts again - as for the old bloke on the Yamaha, he wants to win 450 SX Points... Ryan Dungey - 72 Chad Reed - 59 Jason Anderson - 57 Cole Seeley - 55 Eli Tomac - 54 Ken Roczen - 51 |

Webbs was not an easy win fella, he had a real good battle with Craig in the final, though pulled away fairly easily after.
Dungey is just doing what RV and RC did before him, there is always ONE alien in supercross, the others are just wannabes! |

OK, Dungey needs to have an off day - soon!
Good ride by Musquin to get a podium in his 4th start Missed what happened to Canard & why he didn't start. Any news why Stewart pulled off once he dropped back a few spots? 450 SX Points... Ryan Dungey - 97 Jason Anderson - 75 Chad Reed - 75 Ken Roczen - 73 Cole Seeley - 70 Eli Tomac - 68 Marvin Musquin - 51 |

I think Buba was not really ready, he got a great start and then simply started letting people by, not read clearly.
Roczen had clear track for 15 laps yesterday and took nothing out of Dungey, and the rest are just not good enough sadly. I can see him winning every round at this rate. |

Stewart a mystery. I will check social media to see
if he or his brother made a statement. Canards hand injury gave him troubles and stopped. http://www.cyclenews.com/2016/01/art...nd-supercross/ Freak shifter mechanical for Webb. Glad for Musquin, hope he keeps it up. Pieck / Friese seems to be simmering still. Clearly a Dungey / Webb show. |

Cant James Stewart talk, give an interview about his issues, why does the team need to talk for him, Blake Baggett spoke for himself - smell a rat when things don't go JS7's way!
