Driver of the Grand Prix: Australian Grand Prix 2015
Who is your driver of the Grand Prix? Sometimes people give a score based on the whole Grand Prix weekend, or taking into account qualifying. Please state if doing so (it could help with any statistical compilation at the end of the year!).

I gave it to Ericsson, who already passed more cars than he did last year, and a great one on Sainz.
(I would've given it to Van der Garde, for at least doing something interesting in F1 this week, but well...) |

I gave it to JB, for achieving what most of us thought could never happen- the McLaren Honda finishing!

Nasr but LH almost got it based on his reaction to Arnie during the podium interview.

Nasr. He became the only Brazilian Formula One driver to score a points finish on his first F1 grand prix, that no other Brazilian driver achieved.

First race, withstood alot of pressure from some good names, punched above his weight in a tasty car, my vote goes to Nasr.

Nasr. Great dubut, and so did Sainz. Could have also given it to Hamilton, or even Vettel.

Nearly voted for Dan for not telling Renault to stick their engine and heading off to the pub. |

Interesting to see (at this point) that the chap who started from pole, and went on to dominate from start to finish, has garnered 5 votes, and the chap who started at the back of the grid and finished last two laps behind also has 5votes!!!
What a diverse bunch of people populate this forum. |

I gave it to Lewis because he looked like he's just out for a leisurely Sunday drive, ok he may have the best car etc but he still has to come up with the goods on the day regardless of how many armchair critics may disagree !

Gave it to Hamilton because of how ridiculously in control he was. It was never in any doubt.
Thoroughly impressed with Nasr though. I saw him absolutely blitz a F3 race at Rockingham a few years ago and I was sure he was going to make it to the top tier. He's done it in a funny way, but on the evidence of today, he deserves to be there. |

It's got to be Nasr on his debut.

The "new" Felipe for me well done Mr Nasr magnificent debut.
Apologies to Lulu, who did everything right and drove off into the sunset! Looks like he could whitewash the season pretty easily! |
