Yoong Montoya should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Will Button ever be driving a Williams again?

Button has a long term contract with Williams. But Ralf and Montoya both look like they are safe with Williams for next year, and I fear that Button may never get another chance with Williams

I dont see why thats such a big issue. Williams is not the only game in town. As long as Ralf and Juan get the job done, Frank has no reason to bring Button in. I dont think he's in the class of Ralf and Juan, to be honest. The only way back into Williams for Button would be if either of the two Williams drivers have a money problem with Frank - Frank is known to be stingy - in which case he may opt to drop one of them and bring Button in for a cheaper amount. Thats the only hope he has. And that seems to have disappeared as well - with both Ralf and Juan having signed contracts till 2004.

Button will probably be at Jaguar next season.

Button may as well give up his dreams of once again driving for Williams because both JPM and Ralf are safe in their seats at this point in time. However, things can change quickly in F1.....

Button is better off trying to secure his Renault seat, which seems to be slipping from his grasp every day, or joining a team like Jaguar and helping them grow. Jaguar can improve as they have the resources and people, they just don't have drivers of any calibre.

Can you elaborate this?
I mean, I'm not aware that he might get kicked out.

Well, I only go on from what is reported around the various websites, plus whatever is discussed in here, but it's obvious that Flavio is trying to exert influence on the Renault board and get his driver, Alonso, into the second Renault seat alongside Trulli, forcing Button to look for a drive elsewhere.

It's no secret that Alonso does want a race seat for next year at Renault, and that Flavio will try anything to get him that seat.

It's been reported that Button has been to the Jaguar factory and has also been in talks with Niki Lauda at various times.

yes - we will see Button back eventually - Maybe in 2004. I think ralf will get ditched by the team - apparently Patrick Head is not impressed by his lack of interest in the technical side of things...
