From the back of the hard Drive
No names or descriptions, just circuits that have evaded being posted on here ...probably because I didn't think much of them at the time.
Do you share that opinion? Comments, criticisms and Edits welcome as always. |

#1: The double crossover is cool. And I like the way in which every corner shape on there appears no more than once. I like it, even though the blot shape looks like it had to fit into a square (which obviously all fantasy tracks have to.)
#2: Waterfront Raceway (or so I'd call it). As one of my forespeakers already said, it has its Tilkeish features, like for example, the straights ending in sharp corners, but they work for the benefit of the circuit here. But the winding sections like the coastline road and the one leading up to the hairpin turn it into something special in the genre of Tilke-styled tracks. #3: The Airfield; Do they still want to use the runway from the right to the left, or why don't they construct suitable runoff in the final corner and instead mess with the long straight by intoducing that chicane in the middle of it? The section from the hairpin though that about-250 degree corner until towards the chicane on the long straight is the best part of the track. #4: I'm not too sure about this one. There are so many grandstands around it. I feel a bit reminded of Aida, because most is OK but there are very slow sections on track. Still, at #4, they're better distributed than at Aida. My ranking of these from best to worst: 2,1,4,3 |
