Nittymaki has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
RSS Masters Lydden Hill

Great to see after the Angelsey meeting was postponed that the RSS boys are on the ball and have got an entry list up already for Lydden Hill even though it is 7 weeks away!

Im sure it will get a bumper entry, hopefully some euorpeans will take part.

Already a healthy entry in various classes but great to see only 8 spaces remaining in stockhatch. Should provide some close racing and great tv coverage.

Roll on May 29th!

Im sure the RSS event on the 29th of may will be a great event but with Easter Monday only 2 weeks away surely as a rallycoss lover it is that event you should be looking forward to first, unless of course you are one of the RSS boys.

Not at all im a stock hatch racer about to watch myself on tv from the Croft event, and having been in rallycross for 11 years it is something never achieved in a BRC event!

Only do the MDA clubmans championship as I feel it is better value for money and get more out of it for sponsors than the current BRC. But I will be there spectating

Thanks for the reply and wish i could sit down and watch rallycross on a monday night. Time i got SKY installed! I have to say it is good having 3 top rallycross events at Lydden this year, just need to get the winter series back to help take away those winter blues! Seems so long ago since the Superprix, do you know if the RSS have looked at organizing more winter events?

On the winter series issue... one way out of the RSS v BRDA nonsense might be for the two organisers to carve up the calendar such that:

(1) March-August: The BRDA run British-based events with the RSS running only overseas events in this period.

(2) Sept-Jan: RSS run British events (effectively a winter series), with the BRDA agreeing to run only Irish events during this time.

It might prevent any further meetings being cancelled due to lack of entries.... just a thought...

Looking at the RSS entry list for Lydden Hill it looks rather small.
Monday there where much more drivers.

Hope the list gets longer the next couple of weeks.

I wouldn't worry too much - entries don't close for another month. Hopefully it'll be another bank holiday cracker. Any news / rumours about overseas drivers? The Czech ERC round on the following weekend might make it difficult for the obvious names...
