750MC Oulton 10th September

Which configuration is being used for this meeting because MSVR is showing International and 750MC is showing Fosters?

Date should read 10th September please could moderators change the date in the title.

I'm down to Marshal at Oulton this Saturday but i've moved house within the last week - still managed to do all 3 days for the Gold Cup though . Anyway I can't find my tickets for Saturday anyone got a spare they can leave for me.

Cheers Ian.

750MC 10th Sept - Got the tickets from HO and finals (incl timetable) were available Friday. With many volunteers, it took time to get letters sorted and completed them today. You should get the tickest etc Monday post. I only got enough tickets to send one per person but have got some from the competitors side if anyone needs another.

Will somebody please wake a mod so we can get the date corrected in the thread title?

If you haven't read my other thread - Practice starts at 8.30 so sign on times and briefing should be 30 minutes earlier that shown on the letter.

i think the mods have given up on us, maybe we should throw a party while they ain't looking?

looks like all the "crashy bangy" series are out this weekend, maybe all my incidents for one year will come in a single weekend?

My first time out marshalling in many many years - had a grand time, weather was good, could have done with some bigger grids but there was some entertaining racing and even a lunch break .

Thanks to everyone at Cascades for putting up with me. I learned/re-learned a bunch. Mallory next week, back at Oulton a couple of weeks after that. I hope I'm not getting hooked .

Thanks 750MC.

Even with low grids in some races there were still battles in the field.
Hope drivers involved in collisions are all OK especially Stock hatch A and Vee that were at Old Hall / Avenue.

Totally agree. In spite of some low grid numbers (in a just couple of races) I had a really enjoyable day. And it seemed to fly by, helped by having plenty to do for the short period with the incidents mentioned above. I had a nice run for cement dust, brushes and shovels after we found some oil once the service vehicles had cleared the incident.

Does anyone know how the marshal from Clay Hill is?

The incident at Old Hall/Avenue was quite spectacular and I'm not surpised a few people found it challenging. Hopfully it won't put you off.

The marshal at Clay Hill was released and even remembered to collect his raffle prize.

Now done. Apologies for the delay, was playing at Silverstone since Thursday morning so hadn't had chance to read any threads. A PM is better since it notifies us we need to do something rather than happening upon it during the normal course of things.
