With the recent success of the Grand Prix continuing with today's results at the Rock, how likely is it that there will be some changes to their lineup next year? They're going to lose several cars to Dodge, and I would imagine they will be looking to get 1 or 2 more established teams to supplement Gibbs Racing. I would imagine with so many Fords in the field now that there might be a couple owners who would be enticed by the attention that Pontiac could provide, much as Davis and Gibbs were a few years ago.
Whoops, obviously the subject line should have read 2001.... [This message has been edited by John B (edited 28 February 2000).] |

Bill Davis and Richard Petty's cars will all switch from Pontiacs to Dodge's next year. So that will leave only the following cars as Pontiacs in 2001:
#10 Johnny Benson (owner: Tim Beverly) #14 Mike Bliss (owner: A.J. Foyt) #18 Bobby Labonte (owner: Joe Gibbs) #20 Tony Stewart (owner: Joe Gibbs) #36 Ken Schrader (owner: Nelson Bowers) |
