petestenning should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
750 Donington Park

There are currently 80 stock hatches entered for this meeting , less those that dont survive Mallory .These are divided into 3 races.
If last year is anything to go by the Caterham should be a cracker.
Big grids for Fvee,Kit Cars, and R.G.B. also add to the fun.

See you there.

Now who is going to be the first to reach the new wall at the Old Hairpin? It's a looooooong way back. I'm not sure the stock hatches are fast enough.

Regards

Are you sure the stock hatches will make it to the old hairpin? They usually have taken each other out before then

As usual from the 750MC, two good day's racing without requiring spectators or participants to bring their own torches.

Now who will forget about the clocks going forward on Sunday morning?

  Unless someone has changed either of the dates without telling me according to my calendar the meeting is 20/21 March and the clocks will be altered on 27/28 March.

And you are correct on the date for BST. I will speak harshly to she who advised me that it was the 22nd.

What's even better is I shall be able to go home from the Saturday, watch the Sebring 12-hr live on Motors TV through the night then return on Sunday.

A cracking motorsport weekend!

This is where it gets complicated. I have on my list 57/74 for Sat/Sun respectively. Diane has all the ES details and some may be on both lists. Any Course/Incident on my list will probably sign-on with me but go to Diane for allocation. There might even be a few the other way round.

I have tried to contact Diane but not managed it yet. So..

Peter,

If it looks like you might be short on Saturday, then put me down to Observe AND Flag if it helps!

Hi Pete,

Any idea what duty you've got Andrew Palmer (my hubby, if you didn't recognise me!) and I down for, for Mallory and Donington?

Unfortunately myself, along with Mrs CrazyStu and some others, will be unable to attend the Saturday as we have been invited on a private tour of the BAR team HQ.

We will be there on Sunday but obviously an offer like this does not turn-up too often so we're making our apologies now. (and in pvt).

Have fun all and see you on the 21st.

He is NOT having MY broom - mine is special - its got a cut off switch now! And it might even get through scrutineering on Sunday.

How many people have I got for Donington Peter - do I need to work some magic and conjour up some more pit marshals?

Interesting reading. 750MC is a popular club - good racing and nice to the marshals, so they get a good turn out.

There's approx 170ish down for Mallory on Sunday. The same club pitch up at Donington the following week, and being practically next door, you can safely say the same marshals would be attracted. There are less than half the volunteers, if I've read it correctly, less than a third on Saturday.

The club is no less popular, so the difference is the circuit or something about it????

And if a really popular club currently has 54 marshals for Saturday, how many do you think will turn out for one of the others on a Saturday, or worse, Friday?

Hmmm...

Woolley, presume a large number 'do as i do', in that for Mallory I do my volunteering through the organising club, but for Donington i fill in the availability form through Di, hence in this case Peter has not got the full numbers yet as unable to contact Di!
