Craig Senior should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Another Newbie

After many years of thinking about it I have finally decided to take the plunge and sign up to Marshal.

I was at the Harewood Hillclimb a couple of weeks ago talking to someone about it and now have enough free time to devote to doing it properly so my first day will be the Harewood hillclimb on the 13/14th May.

I also decided to sign up on here after just reading for the past 12 months and have found it to be packed full of info for new marshals.

Don't know if there is anyone on here from Harewood, if so I will see you on the 13th.

Welcome to the orange club, and to the forum. Harewood is an excellent place to start, the day seems to go so fast due to cars being on the hill all the time.
I see Andy has PM'd you, but make yourself known, 10/10ths patch on my tangos and checkers on my hat.
Most of all, enjoy it, Mike and Keith will look after you.

Thanks guys.

Keith has provided me with plenty of info so I will hopefully be coming reasonably prepared.

I will no doubt have plenty of questions on the day though.

And don't forget the best advice I ever heard: if there's a bunch of marshals chatting, don't feel excluded, they just don't know your name to invite you. Go up, introduce yourself and say 'hello, this is my first day'

Harewood is good fun, I get there when I can. Am there on the 14th.

You'd also get a good welcome at Croft if you fancy travelling a bit further north.

I've got my name down for a few dates at Harewood this year so will see how it goes and take it from there.

I certainally intend to do other circuits/events, if not this year then certainally next year.

Really looking forward to it now. Roll on the 13th/14th May.
