duke_toaster should be qualifying in the top 5 on the gridduke_toaster should be qualifying in the top 5 on the grid
New for 2008 : Fantasy BTCC!

Thanks to the mods for giving me permission to do this . Without further ado, here are the rules and values.

Rules

1) You can spend up to £50,000 on one team and two cars. Please check. I won't be happy if there is any Enron accounting and I'll have to take points.
2) If you buy a team, you can't hire any of that team's drivers. Tom Onslow-Cole does NOT count as a Vauxhall as VXR are the only three car team. One car teams do not count.
3) You can make three "substitutions" during the season. If a driver or team leaves you will get a free substitution. However, substitutions cannot take you over the limit.
4) You score the same number of points as your two drivers and both cars for your team.
5) If you enter late, you won't score points on rounds you missed and your first round. This is to stop people joining late to avoid jumping on to the titanic.
6) If a team joins, or a driver joins, duke_toaster will add them. In the event of anything odd happening, it's duke_toaster's decision.

The entry form is

Team name :
Team used :
Driver 1 :
Driver 2 :

D'OH!

Please could a moderator add them at £20,000. Robbe and mattt, should either of you want them you can add them without using up a substitution.

No, given that it was a pre-season thing. You can still make those substitutions up, you have all three left.

Hmmm, I just came up with my perfect team and found it was exactly the same as Robbe's

Enquiry - you say if you pick VX Racing, you can hire Tom Onslow-Cole. Since VX Racing + Tom would be 50,000 points, does this mean you can have one driver teams if you so wish? - since you couldn't possibly hire another driver as you'd go over the points limit?

No. It was just a general point about three car teams. It does apply with Robertshaw - with them only the Chevrolets count.

Driver 1 : Turkington - 17,000
Driver 2 : Shedden - £12,000

= £49,000

and a £1,000 bonus for me!

Just a quick Question though... What's the relevence of the Team you choose if you score the points from the drivers.

I hope i don't look stupid for asking that.

you also score the points of both team drivers, so in your case:

Allison + Vaulkhard + Turkington + Shedden
