Quaife MSA British Rallycross Championship
QUAIFE MSA BRITISH RALLYCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP
Quaife sponsors British championship Sevenoaks-based driveline components specialist Quaife is the new title sponsor of the MSA British Rallycross Championship. Quaife, which celebrated its 40th anniversary last year, has a long relationship with Rallycross, although this is the first time it has sponsored a championship. Managing Director Michael Quaife was a front running Rallycross competitor throughout the 1980s and into the early 1990s, his career in the discipline culminating with the driving of a 700bhp Escort Supercar that used the company’s four-wheel drive transmission system. “I’m very pleased that Quaife is strengthening its links with Rallycross, we have a long association with the sport, it’s a part of our heritage,” said Financial Director Sharon Quaife. |

Does this means we need a new sunscreen?
Do you think they'd mind if its in pink and green? |

Errr... you dont expect me to drive to Lydden from Shropshire on Monday morning before racing? The weekend starts at 8am on Sunday when we leave, or infact 7pm on Saturday when I get the car and van together!

Only 3 days to go, and it looks like we are in for a cracking championship. Anyone any idea if we are going to have the same commentator we have had to suffer in the BRC for the past couple of years?

can't beat Arthur D on the commentary front... don't know why someone who has followed the sport for years doesn't do it rather than some guy who doesn't know what he's talking about, AD gave a real insight

Have to agree with that, i wish Arthur and the BRC would resolve their differences, the sport needs him! Lets hope the new guy at least does his homework before tomorrows first round and can commentate by using the drivers names and not their numbers and have a little more knowledge than what his script and driver info sheets tell him. It would be nice to know a little more about the junior drivers other than that they are students and more behind the scenes information. It amazed me after Michael Boaks big accident last august that the commentator had no idea why he wasnt out for second runs! Maybe a second commentator based in the paddock would be a good idea. Anyway shouldn't look back so all the best to Dave Walker (hes gota promising surname!) and welcome to the wonderful sport of rallycross.

Sadly Nick won't be with us this year due to his other commentating comitments. For Lydden we have Dave Walker, who recently has been the commentator for the MSA Autocross Championship.
