Sutil, because I am including up to 15 minutes after the race.
Jake "Do you know that girl?" Sutil "Not yet..." Makes up for his slide in the pit lane. |

I went for Heidfeld. Almost went for Barrichello. Sutil impressed me. Pity about that slip-up in the pits.

If Liuzzi had finished, I would have given it to him.
Otherwise it can surely only be between Rubens and Alonso? |

Alonso?? Are you serious? It has to be Rubens who was faultless all race, also great drives by Liuzzi and Sutil. Pity Lewis tried pushing too hard or we could have seen a great final lap.

Deadly serious. He was punching above the cars weight all race.
Sutil finished 4th in a car he probably should've finished 3rd in on pure pace, although Lewis was quick no doubt. Kimi did well I suppose? |

Liuzzi - so what he didn't finish, he didn't put a foot wrong all weekend and was wonderfully racey in his return to the grid and punching well above his weight.

I thought Liuzzi was very impressive. I was about post something on the race thread when he pulled off to retire.
The vote has to go to Barrichello, but it was good to see Kimi continuing to extract the most from his Ferrari. I think he may have scored more points than anyone else over the last four races. |

I wanted to put Liuzzi, but I can't vote for someone who didn't finish the race, even if it's the car letting him down. So I went for Rubens.

Rubens deserves this. Liuzzi was good as well, as were Sutil and Kimi (pit stops excepted). Good that Lewis got away uninjured. Non-driver of the race: Heikki. Honorable mention to the Toyotas for providing entertainment

As a rule I tend to discount any driver who failed to finish but today I'm going to make an exception and go for Liuzzi. He's one of a handful of rusty drivers to enter the fray in recent weeks, and whilst the others have been off the pace (to varying degrees) he was bang on it from the word go.
I've never rated him but he's gone well up in my estimation this weekend. |

This is a hard one..Ruben's for winning the race, Liuzzi for showing he is right on it from the get go.. Adrian Sutil for proving how good he realy is and Ginacarlo for steeping into a Ferrari with little or no preparation to speak of..
I have to vote for the flamboyant Italian..Vitantonio Liuzzi! |

Many drivers in the frame this time.
Went for Ruebens in the end. Good to see Jensen back at it. Sutil drove exceptionally well too. I was greatly impressed with Liuzzi, and great pity he was so unlucky, I'd have liked to see how he would have finished. One to watch in the future? Lewis did a good job until being 'Lewis being Lewis' got the better of him. Caught himself out in the end. (stating the obvious) Cheers Peter |

Liuzzi would be my choice if he'd finished but sadly he gets an hon mensh. The Brawns were just faultless really so it has to be Rubens who gets my vote. Not only did he and Button have the best set up, they both used it to perfection IMO.
Shame for Lewis but at least he was trying. Unlike Heikki whom I suspect has ended his McLaren career today. The Marx Brothers award for comedy turn goes to Toyota, or at least their drivers, just what was that all about? |

Rubi just sneaks it for me, ahead of Sutil. But due to the nature of Monza, suited to KERS, it was always likely we'd see him slip back. But respectable job anyway, and a great job by rubens, he's on the form of his life at the moment! I'm going to be brave and pick him for champion.
I was also impressed with Kimi, even though in a way it was gifted to him the podium. But great to see him continue his fantastic form of late, if only there was a way to make it last the WHOLE season, not just half. |

Barrichello for me - completely outdrove his team-mate. If he'd been on this kind of form earlier this season, no way would Button be leading the championship now.
I would possibly have gone for Sutil if he hadn't taken out his pit crew, because with Hamilton's crash that ultimately cost him a podium. |

Webber for me. I didn't watch the race but I am sure he was outstanding for the 4 corners that he drove during the race.
