The return of Lola?

Obviously it fits firmly in the "will believe it when there's an actual car on an actual track" category, but it would be nice to see it happen. That name conjured up a definite sense of something in my childhood sportscar-loving brain.

i hope they make a return but if the statement about brabham and lotus is anything to go by then not sure they are particularly that close to motor racing

To be fair, Lotus and Brabhams only make road and GT racers, nothing in the single seater or sportscar/prototype range. (Hopefully Lotus haven't sneaked back into F1 while I last saw a race).

Yes, I suspect there may have been more said which would have given better context to Sam's quote. He's been around our sport for many years, is extremely knowledgeable and definitely knows his stuff.

I'm particularly interested to see him associated with the new Lola set up, because he was in fact a former employee there, having been my contact and subsequently our host for the Drayson Racing/Lola cars 10Tenths garage visit.
