http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...threadid=45569
The above thread has started in regards to a Touring Car World Cup, It seem V8 would not fit the bill. |

If this gets a look in by the FIA then AVESCO's latest project has been killed before gets off the ground or is even announced...

Thanks Anyway, how would such an event run? Would they have classes, etc.? After all, how could a V8 compare to a 2 litre car? |

The FIA would be unlikely to have 1987 repeat itself with a World Touring Car Championship supported by only a few teams. And they would be very unlikely to allow sanctioning of two international touring car series at the same time...

We remove its outdatedness by repeating over and over and over how good it is
To be honest, at Indy, the crowds were hanging over the fences to see the V8's, and for the most part couldnt have cared less about the ChampCars |

and there was swearing when there was a yellow cos of a crash and the immortal quote: "they can run in this, it isn't F88king raining!" "no, its f88king hailing you *BLEEEP*" |
