NASCAR Sprint Cup All-Star Race
Thought there would be something going on this by now...better late than never?
Jayski All Star Race LINEUP Kyle on the pole, followed by Bowyer, Biffle, Edwards, Stewart and Mark Martin. Trevor Bayne is eligible but has withdrawn... Showdown winner and 2nd place advance, plus the FAN VOTE. Who are you voting for? Showdown LINEUP Regan and the 'dinger make up the front row. Cope with a solid start in 25th just behind BORIS. |

I'm not ashamed to say that I'm hoping for some fireworks that leaves steaming tempers and mangled race cars in its wake.

See...that is what this race is supposed to be. I don't want it all the time, but it is what I have come to expect from the AllStar Race. And I recall last year's being relatively tame. For the record, Taz got my vote as I figured Cope would race his way in. |

Oh, bad hit there. I hope everyone's ok.
Edit - Both Cassill and Cope out of their cars and ok. Vicious hit there. |

Just finished the showdown.
GOOD STUFF DAVID! Congrats to him and hope he can put in a good performance in the AllStar event. Too bad, I had to fast forward through the pre-race and driver/team introduction. What I miss? Has the fan vote winner been announced? |

Kesolowski and Kurt Busch look to be out already with brake issues and terrible car/pitstop/penalty, respectively, after the mandatory green flag stop on lap 25.
the Bif, Carl, Kyle, Kahne and Smoke the top 5 after 25 laps. |

Well this was a giant waste of time. I should have gone to bed after the qualifying race was over.

Nice attempted spin on the grass Carl. Basically destroyed your car. |

Lack of interest for me in the all-star race...
Would have been interesting if Edwards had tipped the car over - guess the million dollars wouldnt have gone to far |

Nice. Blatant commercialism. Fair play, it worked. I've now checked out what exactly Lowe's is (I only knew it was something to do with DIY). Although there isn't much chance of me spending $299 there in the near future.
Thanks |
