TTFRL season 3 start up
Hi guys, as promised here is a quick questionnaire for you to fill in and if you could email me (tony_simpson10@yahoo.co.uk), so we have some sort of confidentiality type of thing, and so i can gauge how many of us want to race.
For a couple of questions try not to include a huge long list of tracks, etc, just a couple of suggestions will do fine and I will see what I can do. I cannot promise all the changes of course but I will do my best. 1. How many races would you like in a season??? (10, 12, 14, 16 etc, etc) 2. Are you happy with a break from racing in the middle of the season, as per season 2. 3. How many of the tracks do you want as being original Papy ones (all of them, 6 of them, etc, etc) 4. Which original tracks would you like to be removed for next season??? 5. Which add on tracks would you like included for next season??? 6. Are you happy with the format of the races, with regards to race length, practice times, car damage used, etc, etc. 7. If not then comment on what you would change. 8. When would you like season 3 to start up??? (end of May, beginning of July) try not to give a specific date if possible. 9. How many dropped scores would you like (none, 1, 3, etc) 10. Any other points you want to raise do so now please. For your information I will aim to spilt the cars used equally between the races, but will also move the cars around so that we rarely run the same car as in season 2. Just to keep us on our toes a little, and for those of us who do not have it yet get closer to finishing off the Monster rank or improving on the rank a little. |

One question I haven't seen the answer:
The races are scheduled at what time? I think pirenzo said they were at 8.00pm british (and portuguese ) time (so 9.00pm for those on the right time-zone). Is that right? Maybe in this year, they could start at 10.00pm CET (9pm for the portuguese, english, scottish, welsch and irish)? |

well, that's getting on a bit in the evening. The races are during week days (so i have school the next day) and i'd rather not start much later, 8.30pm GMT would be about as late as i'd rather go.

9.00 pm British is too late for me, I'm afraid. That would mean finishing races well after 10.00 p.m. Not that I don't stay up later (although I am getting on a bit ), but my missus would be less than impressed. I definitely want to stick with an 8 pm start.

Well I suppose i could be convinced to join in for a few next time around, haven't hardly driven GPL recently, mainly after the completely pathetic race I had at the Glenn, still fuming over that one, I was absoluelty pathetic, completly lost all ability to drive between the practise and the start of the race. Probably not helped my a) loading in the wrong setup for the race (GPL default instead of one the alien setups I had been trying), and b) trying to hard not to muck up other ppls race, which didn't work
Still I haven't uninstalled it from my PC yet, so there may be time to save me... With regards to scheduling, I'm not fussed, as long as its not on a thursday, and not too late either, I need time to calm down before going to bed usually . |

What exactly is preventing you from driving at 9pm CET?
If it's something that happens every night, then there's nothing we can do, but if it's just Tuesday that's causing the problem we could always move to a different day... |

The races are on tuesday? LOL, my league (GPLPT) is also on tuesday
But the real problem is that here in portugal it's almost impossible to have dinner before 8pm (yes, we eat at the right time ), so I can only join a race at about 9pm. But don't change your schedule just because of me |

Personally, I'm very serious about keeping the time - if anything, I'd even have gone for half an hour earlier, to be honest. I'm not much fussed which day of the week it is though......

Wouldn't it just have been easier to click on that little button with the word "edit" on it?
