Would love to see more astons next year aswell

Hope British GT has a smoother year in 2010. 2009 was dire.

Well, there is some good news for you then, it appears that there will be a brand new DBRS9 for Vantage Racing driven Tom Black and Stuart Hall.

Lets hope all the teams that are "talking" about entering BGT this year do actually turn up, no doubt a few won't. But lets hope for some variety. Especially in the Ginetta class, ooops I meant GT4.

Well if all the cars that are supposed to run in 2010 do then it will be a very strong championship indeed

They are also letting cars with superseeded homoligation run also

Of course they are letting old cars run, they need to build the numbers up, but they are going to be way off the pace of the 2009 and 2010 spec cars. Even with supposed equalisation.

But lets hope for a big grid of GT3 cars, I'm not so keen on GT4, they don't look like they should be on the same grid as GT3, but if it helps get the numbers up then so be it.

Think they're the old ones still.

A few weeks back in Autosport they also mentioned that Vincent Vosse's team was looking into entering two Astons in British GT and/or Belcar. Am sure I also recall Autosport mentioning that Barwell hadn't ruled out returning with a GT3 Aston too.

I've also seen that Adam Wilcox will be back in 2010 with VRS Racing.

Two United Autosports Audi R8's for Oulton Park and selected extra events apparently. Article on the official website.

Mentions Zak Brown and Pablo Perez Companc as 2/4 drivers with Oulton being used as a FIA GT3 warm up.

Be nice to see a bit of variety on the grid at Oulton.

As in link here.

For anyone interested in British GT racing, the best news is in the penultimate paragraph - Benjamin Franosivicci has returned as the Championship Manager. You couldn't have anyone better.

For the less well informed of us Strider (ie me!) could you fill us in a bit on Mr (or is it Signor?) Franosivicci?

DBRS9 for Tom Black and Stuart Hall too, as Vantage Motorsport.

http://www.britishgt.com/news.php?ac...ms%5Bid%5D=526

Beginning to look like we could have the makings of quite a varied, and dare I say it healthy, at least compared to '09, grid at Oulton at this rate.

British GT is looking very strong for 2010 and the cup class will bring more cars also

Ps Does anybody think that the 2009 spec Cup S could be competitive in British GT next year against the Ferarris and the new GT3R
