I know, it's like BJR, they've been struggling ever since 2003 and are slowly finding their feet and has anyone being complaining and being cruel to Team BOC/WOW? NO!!! Not even a peep. So if people have got the decency to cut practically all teams and drivers slack, why can't they do it with Mr Skaife?

Big nose makes big statements, even Holden supporters don't like him.
Skafey is like John Howard, forgot the real people , arragont as s###, is never wrong, the world owes him, gods gift to motorsport. True he has won some, he did a great effort at Darwin after jas adjusted the aero package. BUT when he opens his mouth, it just goes down hill. Plus he bites. so, why not |

Has Skaife finally given in.../Mark Beretta's Comments/other Skaife stuff. (merged)
I was thinking of starting a thread called "Eat your words Mr Beretta", then I saw billy bigtime's thread.
Did anyone pick up on the fact that after the FPR bloke said Mark Skaife should retire, Mark Beretta laughed and said "good call!". That is unacceptable from a journalist, and I think Mark Beretta should apologise publicly to Mark Skaife and retire himself. Shame on you Mark Beretta, you regularly display ignorance in what you are reporting and unless you can get out on the track and win five championships yourself, you're not qualified to make such remarks. Completely unprofessional. |

Sounded like a reasonable reply to me.
Remember Skaife said he would let his driving do the talking. He's brought it all upon himself, again. |

i heard what Tim said and missed what Berreta said so i can't really comment, it was abit out of line for Tim to say that and if Berreta said that then it is even further out of line.

I didn't see mass calls for the sacking of Jason Richards when he incompetently wrecked Skaife's race in Darwin. Where do I find that thread billy?
While we're here Billy, where do we find the "never won a championship" thread? Surely there's more than one trick to this pony? |

Hmm, well I heard it as "good call". You're right peckstar I haven't supported my case very well, I'll listen again tonight and make sure and see if I can post it up somewhere.
I think its unprofessional of Tim (I forgot his name) to say it too, but he isn't representing Channel 7 - who's role is to present the racing, not take shots at drivers. |
