QUB Bsa
Hi I'am new on this forum so hear goes, back in the 70's I seem to remember a rider calles Bob Heath who worked for Bsa riding a bike called the QUB Bsa a 500cc 2 stroke single developed by Bsa and Dr Gordon Blare of Queens university Belfast, can any one else remember this and are there any pictures out there, I seem to remember the Hutchington 100 at Brands and the race of ace's at snetterton where I saw the Bsa and does it still exist ?.......Gordon

You may well be thinking of the QUB Seeley 500 single two stroke. I'm sure that I saw it at Brands once - may well have been ridden by Bob Heath.
It was ridden in some of the Irish Road Races by Ray McCullough. I did a Google search and found a picture of it on a French Classics site on this page http://motoclassic.skyrock.com/12.html. Andrew |
