Being Silverstone, I had to pick a British winner really, so I went for Mark Webber.
He played the long game and won it. Last edited by Born Racer; 8 Jul 2012 at 19:26. |

totally agree. Webber did great and no mistakes in a very fast car. But Alonso took what turned out to be a sub optimal strategy as seen by almost everyone else choosing a different one and still managed to not fall of the cliff during his final stint to bring it home in second. with the tires being what they are i love how Ferrari continue to make up for the shortcomings of their car by being different then the rest and FA making that work.

I don't know how calculated the Ferrari strategy was... According to some they merely gambled on it raining before they got to the final stint, thereby negating their need to use the weaker tyre.

Have to give it to Webber, but lots of impressive drives, namely Kimi and Romain.

I'm going to give it to Massa. This is just the sort of solid, mistake free drive that he needs.

Webber. The right move at the right time gives you the win.

Nobody stands out for me. Good solid drives from the top lot but nothing really stand-out.

Webber for a good controlled race, with honourable mention for Grosjean for a gutsy fighting performance.

Webber for me, could this be his season with a bit of luck?
Awesome races from Massa and Grosjean too. |

In order of preference :-
1. Webber - the winner, so it goes without saying. 2. Alonso - a good drive for the best driver in F1 at the moment. 3. Massa - a solid drive from him. 4. Grosjean - good recovery from him. |
