BTCC Oulton Park 2013 Rounds 10/11/12

Time for a thread as its this weekend. Short break since Thruxton for the teams to repair and improve cars, Dynamics and Speedworks have both been publically testing as well as others, fingers crossed that Andy Neate and IPT arrive with their freshly built Cruze NGTC.

Oulton traditionally provides great racing, and hot weather is forecast...

It won't be the Motorbase Focus, that is pencilled in for Croft.

You've obviously not seen the VW Cup. There's a few drivers who'd be capable in an S2000 car in that BTCC field.

well yeah, he is best of the new comers but still a quite gap meanwhile....

with Kaye unable to score , Wood is surely high favorite on this track to walk away with lead

Girling could win two races, no S2000s could finish the other race and he would be level in the trophy table......

Not as far as I know. From Twitter, it seems to me that they're still burning the midnight oil to get it done. Surely that's going to result in a car turning up at Oulton with hardly any running at all and not really being in a position to do anything in the races other than shakedown? Perhaps Croft would have been a better target.

Edit: Looks like they've got the car fired up. I presume a little shakedown tomorrow, then deliver the car by racebox to Oulton.

I understand they intend to do some testing tomorrow before they go to Oulton Park?

Seems like it'll be between Wood and Griffin in the S2000 class then. Important week-end for both of them. Have the feeling that Wood could break away at the championship if he manages to stay out of trouble.
