Ross Brawn?
Admittedly I recorded the Brazilian GP on BBC1 so that I could fast-forward through a lot of the preamble (I'm made to feel guilty enough sitting watching 2 hours of actual racing, I daredn't appear to be 'wasting' any more time!), but when Eddie & Suzi were discussing Mark Webber leaving F1 the subject of others, such as engineers was mentioned and Eddie included Ross Brawn in this list.
Now, I may have been living under a stone for the past week or so, but I thought that his leaving (even Mercedes, never mind F1 as a whole) was only a rumour based on supposition. Have I missed out on an official announcement here or was EJ just being an idiot as usual? |

I've not seen anything official. EJ does like to assert, so we're all impressed if he turns out to be right.

Last I heard he's going to work for the FIA in some sort of technical capacity.
Brawn isn't like a driver. He could be back working for a team in a years time whereas the likes of Webber has made a definitive decision not to return to F1. |

There were rumours he was bound for Williams, too (though I've been sceptical elsewhere here about those).
