Oreca are back!!!!!!!
Oreca have announced a return to GT racing, with an updated version of the viper in the FIA Gt championship in 2002 according to autosport. they will offer updated kits to the exsisting viper teams also, but good to see them back!

It will sure be great to see all three big American manufacturers competing head to head at LeMans. Maybe this is the good old days of GT racing. Oreca is also expected to race the new generation Viper GTS next year. The road car already looks race ready, so the race car should be spectacular. All we need now is to get Aston or Jag involved. Or Benz. Or Bmw.

Aston martin are planning to lauch a Gt car assault but plans are unknown at the moment. Merc are planning a new Gt car also apparently if reports on autosport are true , but again, knowledge is limited. I e-mailed viper motorsport recently to ask about their plans and they said they had no plans to race the new viper. Good to see a turn around, come on Oreca, wipe some Chevvy A**!!!!!
