2017 Formula 3 Macau GP - World Cup

Team Motopark annunced to have signed a Deal with sponsor vebet.com and will enter Sergio Sette Camara and Joel Erikson

Rumours also annunce the return of Charles Leclerc at Macau GP with Prema Powerteam

vebet has the word bet in it.

More than one team has had this problem in the last few years and had to remove logos and garage branding too. Caused a few problems!

from what was said on motorsport.com Leclerc will not attend to Macau Gp this year as he prefers to focus on his F1 and GP2 Commitments

Including a 50 year old team principle who changed his name on the entry to 'Dragon'. It would be somewhat ironic if his car caught fire at some point during the weekend (assuming he was okay)

F3 is losing its attraction over the years after GP3 series was introduced, I don't know how a new championship in 2019 can save Formula 3 that is my reason to make this post

It is not really the fact that F3 is loosing attraction , probably more to do with the fact that one single team was dominating (Prema for F3 and ART for GP3) which made not much sense for drivers to sign up with an other team (Norris proved this theory wrong this season in F3)

As I mentioned earlier, if the FIA/organizer provides some privilege to those "independent teams" than the major teams in the race rules, more teams may stay or entering the F3 championship/Macau GP

As example, the WTCC Trophy in FIA WTCC and MotoGP are doing the similar thing

Both of them have been in serious decline. FIA F3 has 5 teams, GP3 has 6. To reach 20 cars, they've had to run 4 or 5 drivers each in some cases.

It is not really that teams have had to run 4-5 cars each , When you are a team owner and a driver knocks to your door and wants to drive then you should accept him.... to an extend i believe a team like ART GP could run 10 cars in GP3 if the regulation would allow them to do so...

There clearly isn't that kind of demand. If there were that many rich kids the grids wouldn't be declining in the first place.

Rich Kids want to spend their money on the right place (Like ART) , as soon as ART is fully Booked then potential drivers look at other options than GP3

every formula has that syndrome. if it’s not prema it’s art, or dams, or kaufmann, or...

but you can win at any team if you’re willing to throw a significantly inflated budget at them. the key is to be like norris and pick a team who spend it on the right stuff.

We all complain about spec series. But we clearly see that teams aren't equal.

Some get bigger budgets, and spend it in engineers, testing and even wind tunnels.
