Hey guys, I would like to know how much it costs to go competitively karting, i mean for the gear, kart and anything ells. I'm young (can't legally drive yet) but have been karting for a year. Any help would be ...well helpful.

well Mr.S it depends how serious you want to be ..I only do my local club events but that has mangaed to run up quite a bill which im paying for greatly now..but if you want to do national series then your in for quite a shock...while still cheap compared to cars karting is fast becomeing a very expensive passtime...last year i had a budget of about $2500 Oz dollars but by the end of the year this blew out to probably well over $3500 ..not alot of money but it all adds up..not sure where you are from but i would imagine that Europe is just as expensive and remember i only do club events.
