Castle Combe 14/15th Sept
I've been asked by a friend and motorsports virgin to find out a bit more about this meeting as she's won some free tickets. Apparantly the meeting goes under the title of the 'Dick Lovett Porsche Racing Festival'.
According to Autosports start of season calendar it includes FPA ARP F3 Radicals National Supersports MGCC BCV8 Porsche Classic Porsche 944 Anyone got any more details or maybe a timetable. |

There are also:
Moss Thoroughbreds Castle Combe Saloons, GTs, and FFords Plus Porsche Open Race (probably more than one). |

should be a good meeting.. castle combe is probs my fav circuit!
easy place to find... just go and have fun. she will love it! FF will be the bestrace of the day.. followed by the GTs. F3 will be fastest, stand up by the first tight corner for the best action. |

I think the meeting is based around the fact that a Porsche car won the marques first victory in England at Castle Combe 50 years ago that weekend in question. Whatever, if you have not been before, get yourself down there, quite the most friendliest circuit in the UK & enjoy free camping, excellent views, no gravel traps, loads of races run in super quick fashion & be sure to go & see the F3 boys on the run up to & into Quarry - brilliant!

also watch for F3 through camp, the modern ones where almost flat-out so the ARP's will probably be going at a similar speed.

I'll be working for CART at Rockingham, but I'm sure some of the FF drivers who use this forum will be happy to spend a few minutes in the paddock with her. Imagine Adrian and my collegues would also be happy to show hospitality from the marshals side, you never know we might get a new marshal.
