How would the whole Hamilton/McLaren connection work with the competition?

It's got to be between Lewis and Adam Carrol... I hope England and Clucas get invited; they're both deserving.

Adam destroy the lot when it comes to the test, but hey, Stephen Kane won it last year so who knows.

Who I think will be nominated:
Watts
Green
Hamilton*
Carroll
Barber
England
Smith*

* - If Hamilton can't be nominated, I think Smith could get a nomination, but either way Carroll will win it.

Please note: That's just what I THINK will happen.

Yeah I have done alright this year, just had loads of bad luck! can still finish 2nd in TVR Tuscan Champs!

The reason you may not have thought I was racing this year is because unlike allot of the drivers people have mentioned, I dont have loads of money to go promote myself and have exspensive managers ect! but I do the best I can with what Ive got! so come on peeps! give me a vote!!

And coming back form a broken neck last year may give me a chance!

Unfortunately for Adam Carroll he can't be nominated for the award. He would have been nominated last year but the rules say that you can't have done any championship class F3 racing. Having done the GP support race with Avanti he couldn't be nominated, and since he has still done that race he can't be nominated this year either.

Let's just say I'm very glad he did that race last year!!

Inc. getting punted off at Spa while in a podium position, this has happend at other races too. Having the rear diffusers 'removed' at Rockingham really helpful on a high speed bowl like Rockingham !!

- last time out at Snetterton Rob managed highest top speed 160mph on the back straight, was fastest all weekend by 7mph through the speed trap, had the fastest 1st sector time all weekend 3rd fastest 2nd sector time and 3rd best laptime all weekend - the lad done well, very well given a very limited budget and limited time in the car. Rob can be on the podium this weekend he has the gonads for the track now all he needs is sweet lady luck to offer a smile in his direction. The McLaren award would be very least he deserves this year IMHO of course !!

Try to relax and enjoy it. If you are seen to be nervous, as I was, then it won't help you at all. But most of all drive bloody fast. Obviously don't throw the cars off but try to build up speed as fast as you can.

From what I've been told told, Thruxton seems to bring drivers with big balls to the fore, especially in those unwieldy beasts. Good luck, I'm sure you'll do well. With Warren looking after you, you won't go far wrong.

Thanks for the compliment, you too are doing damn well in what are widely known as cars that require a very unique driving style instead of a nice easy GT car and without the likes of Martin to learn off.
