Zanardi returns to KART!

The subject was just to get your attention. From Champweb.net a Zanardi kart photo
Here is a picture of Alex Zanardi recently, as he prepares for a karting event. Alex is a true racer, and that will never be taken from him.

Gald to know he's back in cars "without doors". This is indeed excellent!

I was wondering how long it would take to see that helmet back on a racetrack. That's made my day. Any idea how he did?

What a true champion, top person, and an inspiration to all.

It has to be asked, even in a go kart, how well is Alex able to drive now?

It's probably unrealistic, but it would be absolutely mind boggling if he could drive in CART.

It would be great if they could modify a Champ car for him, even if it was just for a promo run. Mind you mentally it would be a huge step but if anyone could do it Alex could!

Crash Test - Earlier this year I drove through that piece of road, and thought of exactly that moment. I was on the exact piece of road that my hero did his final donuts and then proceeded to drive down the main straight sideways. It gave me warm fuzzies.

I'm really happy to see him again. Such a caracter! His driving and personality impressed me way more than Schuey's in the nineties. Go Alex go!

I think it's quite impossible to get him back in CART, but why not in DTM? Jason Watt was Danish Touring Car Champion last year, so, why couldn't Alex try to beat Schneider and Aiello? That would be a huge bonus for racing and the DTM-championship.

CART.com currently has a poll for the best CART champion of all time, and after submitting my vote for Zanardi I saw the results. Needless to say Alex is running away with the votes, and the competition is obviously very strong.
Zanardi really is an inspiration to the human spirit.

Cripes, that's a nice look inside Ralf's head... Dark void that it apparently is.

DTM? I don't think Alex is up to a full-time series again... He's got plenty of money in the bank to take care of himself and his family. Any more racing he does is just going to be for fun, and I think it's probably going to be a lot of sports and GT cars.

Zanardi speaks about a "possible" return to CART! He'd just need a competitive ride, and power brakes!

I know it's unlikely, but wouldn't it be great?

Zanardi could easily return to CART, it woudnt be too hard for a team to modify a car so he can control it via the steering wheel after all. The only thing hed have problems with is the safety side, being able to get out of the car within 5 seconds.

Still knowing Alex I bet he would find a way to do it some how.

Nice burn on Ralf! What a twit!

Zandari has his legs missing above both knees correct? So the only way he could move a pedal would be by pushing through his thy.

Hand-controls, Snrub. That's why he'd require power brakes.
