Ferrari Enzo News!!!
I read on an italian magazin all the truth about the new Ferrari Enzo!
It is used to do some tyres test for the new Ferrari 575 Maranello and probably it never go to a rece... But for me it is very strage that they make a new car only for tyres test...Can't they use a Ferrari 550 Maranello for this...?! I'm sure that under this car there was something for the new Maserati... LeglizOne Last edited by leglizone; 5 Nov 2008 at 10:52. |

it wouldn't make a lot of sence to test 575 tyres on an Enzo!
Wouldn't it handle differently and put diferent stresses and strains on them? and why an Enzo? if they were only testing tyres why not use a less conspictuous piece of machinery? |

So is the best guess that it was used to test Maserati parts then?

My Opinion
I think that in this session Maserati had test some part of the new car...brobably the chassis and some mechanic parts..and that it isn't a simple tyres test..!

I thought the thing was designed so it didn't need a big wing to have balanced donforce at speed? Plus wouldn't although the little movy bits underneath make it against the rules?

Quote:
As for the electronic bits, they would be disabled IF an Enzo raced in GTS. Only the paddle shift gearbox (as on the 360GT) and traction control would be allowed in the 2004 GTS regs. |
