I love this event. World class city hosting a world class event. Just a note: North of Vancouver just South of Squamish is a nice cove called Furry Creek. Has one of the most beautiful golf courses anywhere. The Bob Parker fight scene from Happy Gilmore was filmed at hole number one (the holes have changed since then). Just part of my Molson Indy Weekend!

A bit of a tip: Vancouver's gonna have a problem with staffing this year. The ALMS is running a race in Portland the same weekend, and there simply aren't enough corner workers locally to cover the Indy. (Yes, it's excruciatingly bad timing.)

We get several from Alberta, but the majority of our help comes from the States. Many of those have indicated that they would rather not cross the border, and have chosen to work Portland. We used to get people flying out from Toronto, but the increased cost of air travel and the long waits in airports now have pretty much cut that off too. It's a problem that our local group is trying to rectify but I'm not sure how they're going to pull it off.
