Private Sauber Mercedes C9

I read an article that one of the 1988 Sauber Mercedes C9 (Chassis #5) was sold to a private customer. Did someone knows what happended to these car? I can´t remember that i saw a private C9 on an entry list...

I think this was the Noel Del Bello entry. I remember it not starting at Brands one year.

Del Dello had a C8,not a C9

I do remember reading reports that a white C9 had been spotted on the back of an IMSA trailer in the States, but it never raced (in private hands) to my knowledge.

was the only Sauber-Mercedes to be raced by a customer- he ran it at Le Mans a couple of times around 1987/8, and appeared occasionally at other races- I believe there are C9's in private hands now, but don't know if any have appeared in historic races- possibly in the US?

Sauber's have appeared in the US in Historic Racing the past few years.
